It is no secret that I've been terrible about updating our blog lately. Sad thing is that I've neglected our photo site even more! Oh boy. I'm attempting to upload photos from the last few months over the weekend in hopes to catch up before my trip on Monday (more to come on that).
Visit our January 2011 album to see some winter shots including some playtime in the snow, sledding, New Year's brunch at the Kempfs, our New Jersey trip and more.
Visit Tiff and Jeff's Wedding album to see photos from our trip to New Jersey for Kimmy's sister Tiff's wedding. Tom and I had a great weekend away for this event and even got to spend some fun quality time with Kimmy's family. We wish we could have brought Gloria but maybe next time!

A Party for Lil' Sister
Last weekend I made a trip to New Jersey for 4 days to help my best friend Kimmy put together an engagement party for her sister. Tiffany got engaged over the summer and Kimmy is Tiff's matron of honor.
We had so much fun putting together this party for Tiff and her fiancee! Kimmy really did a lot of work! I was down there mostly as moral support and an extra helping hand. It was the first time in years that Kimmy and I got to work on something so special together. It meant the world to both of us to be able to do this as a team. And to do it for Tiffany, someone who is so dear to both of us!
The hard part, for me, was to leave Gloria for so long! I have had to leave her for 2 nights but this was the first time I had to leave her for longer. I knew she was in good hands though. Tom was with her for 2 days and then my parents and Liz and Corey helped out too. Thank God for our awesome family and friends! At the end of my trip, I was VERY anxious to see Gloria! :) I was also anxious to see Tom...I missed them both very much!
It was a great trip though. I love Kimmy and Tiffany and I'm so excited for my "little sister!" So hard to believe she is getting married! She really has found the perfect guy for her though. They are meant for each other! Kimmy and I definitely approve:)
I took a few photo from my time in NJ, visit the New Jersey Visit album to view them.

Ready. Set. Go!
September has been busy for us at the McDonald house. Between parades, fairs, weddings, class and work...our schedules have been full.
A few weeks ago we enjoyed the annual Franklin County Fair and parade. Unfortunately it rained most of the days the fair was in town but luckily we caught it the very last day; it was a gorgeous day! We had a great time! It was so much fun going with Gloria this year now that she is older and can enjoy more of what the fair has to offer. I can't believe it has come and gone already! Visit our September Album to see all the fun fair photos:)

Last weekend was a double feature for weddings. The first, which I was unable to attend, was in Cape Cod. It was the wedding Lauren and I worked on. It was our second wedding job. We were busy bees right up until a few days before the event. Check out our Eutopia Events blog to read more.
The main wedding for us last weekend was Craig and Katy's in Connecticut. Tom was a groomsmen. He was so excited to stand up for his buddy Craig. We headed down on Friday for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The wedding was Saturday. The weather was beautiful all weekend long!
The wedding day was amazing! Craig and Katy looked so great! We had SO much fun at their wedding. They have great friends and family. Especially those groomsmen and their ladies. In fact, Tom and I didn't leave the dance floor much during the reception:) Therefore, I wasn't taking too many photos of everyone dancing. As you'll see though, there are many photos to browse through. Visit Craig and Katy's Wedding album to view them all. This was definitely one wedding to remember. Not only for the people and the dancing but for the decorations, stationary, cake, flowers and so much more. It was stunning! Congratulations to Craig and Katy!

The rest of life is busy for us as well. Tom has started another class. Sociology this time. So far he seems to like it. Tom has this class until December so its a full semester. I meant to update you on his last class and his grade. He got an A! I'm so proud of him! Other than class, Tom still has golf league. In fact, he and his partner are in second place this part of the season. His dad and partner were in second place the first half so now they have to play against each other for the 3rd spot overall. If you didn't follow my explanation, its ok:) Bottom line, Tom has to play against his dad on Wednesday. Should be interesting. Sorry Dave, I love you and all but I am going to have to cheer for my hubby! :)
At home, I'm keeping busy with GEM. On Mondays we are doing family gymnastics. Gloria loves this!! She can climb, jump, roll, crawl, RUN all she wants:) Its so fun to watch her. I can't get over how quickly our baby is changing. Gloria's latest achievements include: feeding herself with a fork; a few new signs such as "bird," "baby," "play," "thank you;" walking up stairs (with an adult very close by of course); a few new dance moves (haha); stacking blocks; some new animal sounds; and I'm sure I'm missing some things. We are very proud of our little girl:)
I think that is all for now. We are loving the fall weather and are looking forward to spending some time together. Festivals, food, apple picking, the changing leaves, etc. We love it all! Can't wait to share our fall adventures with you all.
Have a great week everyone!
