One of a Kind

“The child must know that he is a miracle, that since the beginning of the world there hasn't been, and until the end of the world there will not be, another child like him.” ~Pablo Casals

A few weeks back we had a play date with the Collins family. We went to the Greenfield Swimming pool, a favorite park of ours. I caught some fun photos of the girls. It was a beautiful day that day! I just added more photos to our May Album.

Some Indoor Fun

A few weeks ago we took Gloria to Universal Kids in Northampton. It was a fun indoor activity for Gloria (and, let's face it, us too!). From what I hear, the forecast over the next three or four days is looking pretty bleak. We'll have to come up with some more indoor activities this week.

For now, we'll enjoy today. It is a beautiful day! A day we are thankful for. A day to reflect on the blessings in our lives. We are so blessed with amazing friends and family! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our lives! We love you all!!

We hope you are enjoying your weekend! I've uploaded more photos into our April album if you would like to browse through them.

P.S. Earth Day was this week and I usually do a post with some Eco-living tid bits but its been a pretty exhausting week on this end. I promise to share some ideas sometime over the next few weeks. In the meantime, I hope you've come up with (or have continued practicing) your own ways to live a more earth-friendly life. :) Happy Earth Month!!

Getting Dolled Up

Gloria loves to play dress up! It is one of her favorite things to do for playtime. Pretend play is so important for a child's development. It sparks their imagination and stimulates creativity. Its amazing to watch as she thinks about the "outfit" she is about to assemble. She also enjoys dressing up mommy and daddy:) She has tried to dress Bridgette up as well but our little doggy isn't having that! haha

I recently took a video of her while she was playing. She is so darn cute! You'll get to hear her talk some too. Her vocabulary is growing every single day! She is even starting to put together small sentences, "my daddy," "bye bye Papa (grampa)," "Bridgee bark," and so on. When it was snowing the other day, I pointed outside and said "look Gloria, its snowing!" Her response..."happy snow!" haha She makes me laugh every day:)

Anyhoo...here is the video of her playing dress up. Bare with me, there are some lulls but I just never know what little GEM will do next so I just keep filming:)
