One Happy Island!

That is what they call Aruba. One Happy Island! And truth be told...it really is! When we spent our honeymoon there 5 years ago, we loved it so much we said we'd go back for our 5 year anniversary. We kept true to that promise. We returned home late Sunday night from our 5 night stay in Aruba, just Tom and I. We had an amazing week! I have lots of photos to share and stories to tell about our trip and about Gloria's "vacation" but for now, here is one of my favorite photos from our trip.

On our last evening in Aruba, Tom and I planned to go out to the private hotel island for sunset. We wanted to enjoy a beautiful sunset far from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. It was perfect! Tom and I and one other couple were the only ones on the beach watching the sunset. Besides getting some fun photos, we relaxed and took in the beautiful view. I couldn't believe our trip had come to an end. We had an amazing week and we felt so fortunate to have been able to share our time together once again in Aruba! It was like a second honeymoon...even better than the first! :)

A Toast to Our Life Together

Tomorrow is our four year wedding anniversary. So many things have changed since we've been married. One thing remains true, our love for each other!

We are going to enjoy a night out tomorrow evening while GEM spends time with her auntie Liz. Not only will we be celebrating our wedding anniversary, we'll be toasting to our 10th year together! So cheers! To my amazing husband and our life together. Love you babe!
